Light up in the Spirit of Christmas!

The Town of Creighton appreciates the efforts put in by our residents in celebrating the Christmas season by lighting up their homes in the Spirit of Christmas.  Residents can nominate their favourite decorated home and an appreciation award will be delivered to the three residents that receive the most nominations.  Call Creighton Recreation at 306 688 3538 to make your nomination.  Deadline is December 18, 2013

Outdoor Bunks

 The Town of Creighton is currently preparing & flooding the outdoor bunks. 

 Parents please tell your children to refrain from using the bunks until they are ready.  We have been unable to flood at times because children are skating on the rink.  Remember once the rinks are ready, it is your responsibility to keep them clean!  Bunks should be ready in time for Christmas.

The Town of Creighton will be once again hosting Canada Day Celebrations July 1st, 2013 at the Creighton Ball Diamond!

 

Festivities start at 1:00pm with the Flag Raising Ceremony and the return of the Color Party Royal Canadian Legion Branch #73

 

Followed by singing of O' Canada

and entertainment by local musicians.

Free Green Ash Trees!

The Town of Creighton has Green Ash Saplings to give away.

 

 

Description: Green ash can grow 12 meters.  The leaves become bright yellow in fall.  The bark is greyish-brown.  The seed is single-winged, which hangs in clusters and can remain  on the tree into the winter.

Clean Sweep Garage Sale

Creighton's Annual Clean Sweep Garage Sale will be held on Saturday May 4th, 2013 at the Sportex.

 

Booths(2 tables) are $25.00 and $5.00 for each additional table.  Set up will be Friday 3rd in the evening.
