Columbarium - Request for Participation

The Town of Creighton Columbarium Committee is looking for your help.

The next meeting will be Monday. May 9th, 2011 at 7:00pm in the Creighton Council Chambers.

Please feel free to come to the meeting with your thoughts and suggestions. If you are unable to attend and still wish to bring something forward, you can:

Email townofcreighton@sasktel.net and insert "Columbarium" in the subject line.

The Committee would also appreciate knowing if you do/do not support this proposal. The contribution of your ideas and time is required and will be greatly valued.

Creighton Spring Clean-Up!

A perfect opportunity to clean–up the yard!
Place items in your usual garbage location and the Public Works Department will haul it away.
Any fridges or freezers must have the Freon removed.

How do you participate?

1. Pick up a log sheet from the Creighton Town Office, Creighton Recreation Culture & Tourism Center or Creighton Community School.

2. For every 30 mins of activity you get one point!

3. Return to the School, Rec Office or Town Office by June 1st, 2011 to win great rewards!

Interested in Lacrosse?

Lacrosse will be held every Sunday at the Sportex starting May 8th.

Participation is Free, Sticks are provided by Creighton Recreation

All participants must wear CSA approved helmets with full face mask, running shoes and hockey gloves. Coach will be Sam Elder.

Photography Workshop with Bruce Reid

An outdoor photography workshop dedicated to taking outdoor photographs with all sorts of subjects such as; Humans, Transportation, Animals and Landscapes!

Workshop located at Creighton Community School on April 23rd from 1 -5pm with an excursion to our local Animal Shelter to practice techniques.

Saskatchewan Babysitting Course

There are still a few spots available for the Babysitting Course. It will be held on April 16th at the Creighton Recreation Culture & Tourism Center. Must be 11 years old to sign up. Course cost is $25.00. Please call Channa to register at 688-3538

Willow Wreath Workshop
